Project Seven is thirty individual concrete bricks that lock together without the use of mortar. The bricks are symmetrical down their long axis to not only balance their weight but help the bricks interlock with one another.

The brick started out as three different designs from four different group members. The idea of bricks interlocking together intrigued us, so we decided to pursue a combination of a few bricks designs, and see to it that it took one brick to interlock with another version of itself as opposed to multiple different brick designs fitting together.

In terms of design choices, the curves of the bricks lower the weight of structures built using X-Bricks and also break up a heavily tectonic structure by providing visual fluidity to said structure.
